About Mr. Quentin Desouza:
Mr. Quentin Desouza is a Bachelor of Engineering from the Bombay university
A keen researcher, his is the restless mind, ever in search for innovation. Always inquisitive, his mind thrives on technological challenges.
He started his business career in 1973. He was one of the founding partners of Maqlab, a partnership firm specializing in innovative design and manufacture of equipment for medical research. Maqlab catered to the needs of clients such as Glaxo Pharmaceuticals, Hoechst Pharmaceuticals, Grant Medical College, G.S. Medical college etc.
In 1982, he became the founding member of Techno Aids Pvt Ltd., a company specializing in the in house design and manufacture of computer peripherals and photo typesetting equipment. His main clients then included leading publications and printers in India example; Times of India, Indian Express and Vakils & Sons etc.
In 1990 he founder Quantum Designs, the company that he presently heads. Quantum Designs is involved in two distinct spheres of business activities - Hardware Design/Development and Website development. In many ways, the branching of the business of Quantum designs is a reflection of his varied talents and accomplishments.
In his own words
I see Quantum Designs as being development house for chip manufacturers, adding value to their chip's capabilities by designing new applications. In the realm of original research, I see Quantum leveraging its considerable strengths with hardware and software to create new out of the box solutions that will enhance business efficiency for our clients. I also see us doing all this at a well-balanced value versus price ratio. With technology, experience and research, I think win-win solutions are always possible!
